Nice! We sorely needed a Legends Rodimus. I worry though, isn't this the same company doing reflector? If so this might be too big

 

Its a shame the hot rod alt is not better. Not had to buy anything from PapaToys yet so we shall see how it goes.

 

I'm all in. I just wish my springer wasn't so big. Just need a wheelie and the shelf is complete

 

The takara one was really pretty nice. I wonder how the old IF Blaster and whatever perceptor was called (mugen fox?) look mixed in here. I thought about getting him a while back but 35 bucks for a greebly WFC/FoC Blaster seemed a bit much.

 

Okay so, first of all, fantastic that someone is doing a Legends Rodimus. Also, I'm keen to find out how it works - I assume it's a Hot Rod with a winnebago shell like the old MP-09 Roddy. Personally, these days I prefer the idea of separate Rodimus and Hot Rod toys but this is still cool.

On the whole who stole what from whom - hopefully whoever originally designed this will ultimately release it and we can buy that and shun whoever the thief was like we did that stolen "Sideswipe". Shun! Shun!

At 7.5 it may be in the larger sized mech fans range.

Incorrect,

MP28 Hot Rod is approx 7" tall as he stands in my cabinet.
DX 9 Carry and MP Rodimus Prime is 9.5"

Yes but he doubles as Rodimus and Hot rod, so I based him on leader scale.

And that's why it's a horrible idea to have one figure be both Hotrod and Rodimus. The bot could be either too tall or too short depending on what you want and what the figure actually is.

 

To answer my own question tf direct has MP 10 v at 7.677 inches

I think it'll double for an MP Hot Rod and a voyager Rodimus Prime....depends how young the face sculpt is...the saw arm kind of suggests Hot Rod, but the winnebago render suggests Rodimus Prime.
