Ever since the animated Movie, I have always have a soft spot for Rodimus. I like him for his imperfection as a character. Don't get me wrong, Optimus Prime is great but he just just too perfect too be realistic as a character.

Great collection, man. I'm jealous of the Universe Legends Rodimus, as I've never been able to find one in my area.
Here's a shot of my Hot Rod Collection, the primary difference being that mine are all open.



Also, when we got married last year, my wife got me a special groom's cake with a massive, sugar Hot Rod on top. The baker seems to have used both classics and G1 Hot Rod designs for inspiration, as there's hints of both. He got a little melty and beat up after the wedding before being entombed in our freezer. Here's a shot of him. Sadly, I never got a picture of him in his prime as he used to be much more detailed and accurate. It's my favorite Hot Rod for obvious sentimental reasons...that and he cost more than most of my Hot Rod toys combined.

I still haven't found the will to fork over the dough for metalverse hot rod.

 

I am in the work of purchasing my first henkei figure ever and it just happens to be HOT ROD, so yeah I want the upgrade set.

You have 2 fig that i would love to have. Heroes of Cybertron and of course the Crystal Hot Rod. Black Hot Rod and other char repaint as homage to Hot Rod is currently not within my plans ~ Cheers

The fan's project upgrade and Animated Rodimus are 2 of the most anticipated figures on my wishlist now~

I got my Metalverse at the online Jap store hobbylink. They were offering a 65% discount at one point. I have no idea about now. You might want to give it a try there.

 

it is still available at HLJ for 65% off. I wish I had the money. Oh well to get a collection like this, I can only go one piece at a time.
