"Strength of the Bear!" "Speed of the Puma!" As I recall, 30-30 was kind of a badass. I saw the toys and thought they looked like crap, but once I caught the 'toon I thought it was pretty cool. Same guys that did HeMan right?
Filmation, yup. Bravestarr is a much better show than Masters of the Universe, if you ask me. The Planet of New Texas? That's just awesome! Makes you wonder if there's an alien planet out there that's like a science fiction version of Australia called New Australia...or Nebulon. Don't forget "Ears of the Wolf!"
Horse is a little used beast mode, I agree, the only official horse TF was Mach Kick in Beast Wars Neo, and that was due to the Maximals having unconvential Beast modes instead of what we had in the US (gorillas, rats, rhinos, cheetas, tigers, birds, velociraptors, t-rexes and instects)
There was also that one pre-TF triplechanger that was either a horse or a llama. The one that kept on getting blowed up in the Dreamworks comics?
And the only reason those shows existed is to fill the gap between seasons of Beasties and Beast Machines.
