Sqweeks maybe? He is my favorite movie figure. And while I haven't seen TLK, others have indicated that he doesn't play much of a role in the film. What do you people think?

He doesn't but he's not a horrible character. You could argue non character with a great figure but I wouldn't say he's horrible by any strecth.

On topic, I’m going to say the Armada Minicons. Those were some fun little toys and their characterization was pretty much nothing.

 

I'd buy the f*ck outta a new ice cream twins pair.

Getaway-He is an aft, but I love his TR figure.

 

I'd have to say any toy of Sideswipe, Mirage, and Sunstreaker. Not that they're "horrible" characters, per se, but pretty much every continuity I can think of will feature Sideswipe and/or Sunstreaker very prominently in advertising and cover art, but the actual story will make minimal use of Sideswipe, Mirage, or Sunstreaker. We've had ~34 years of fiction, and I can hardly remember any important events involving these characters. The IDW continuity is probably the most involved these 3 characters.

 

He’s pretty much just a BB-8 expy, you could write him out of the film and nothing would change.

 

I keep hearing what a shitheel he is in the comics... the TR toy is oen of mine and my kids favs.

My personal horrible Character great toy / figure example takes us outside of Transformers to maybe the all time example of this species.

The TVC / DTF Version that came out and clogged Wal marts for a SECOND time around 2012? Was one of the best action figures ever made, awesome perfect sculpt that perfectly hid pretty much every piece of articulation anyone would ever want, a " walked off the screen" interpretation of the ( admittedly terrible) character... it even had the Pleather skirt/ softgoods that felt and looked JUST like the material did on screen, it had to have been sculpted from the original 3d scans of the actual model used in TPM in 1999. I ended up getting like 4 of them for various dios, putting together casts of characters, back ups and the TVC version looked so iconic and perfect I got an extra ... for like 2 bucks on clearance but on a flawless card... to keep carded.

From what I understand, the Que figure from DotM wasn't all that bad.

 

Agreed on Getaway. He's a repaint/retool of the excellent TR Chromedome.



One of the things that makes the figure awesome for me...









...is that it can be decapitated to give Getaway some richly deserved comeuppance, that, to my knowledge, hasn't happened in the comics.

My god, I had no idea that figure had any value at all these days. Let alone what seems to be, after reading this thread, some serious love from the fans. Right on.
Funnily enough, I used to own an ice cream truck Skids and Mudflap, but I gave it away after owning it for less than a year because I preferred the standalone deluxes. I still have those deluxes, and I'd say they're another couple of fun representations of some pretty horrendous characters.
It is delightfully surreal to live in a world where a pair of small, cute, pink and white Transformers that turn into an ice cream truck are infamous for being racist stereotypes. What a world.
