It's not impossible but I haven't looked in any stores for some time as ecommerce is more efficient for me.

I'm assuming that's 3P? I don't collect 3P but probably the place to look in a physical store might be ActionRobo in Mong Kok?

Not sure if they stock Planet X but they have a lot of the other 3P brands...

Just wondering with all those TF goodies coming out, how do HK'ers have room for it at their home?

Unless you're one of the guys I met at the Hasbro event last night who just keep progressively adding cabinets to his walls... mind blowing and totally AMAZING!

Wave 1 is out almost everywhere but prices can vary significantly (at least as I was walking around Wan Chai this morning).

Also Hasbro RID Power surge figures are out as well. The big OP is $399 in Wan Chai.

Yeah - Wave 1 - Yau Sing was cheapest, Hung Hing also had them, but only had one Optimus left.

Freeway also had them but always the most expensive. Didn't look in the other stores as I dislike the way they mix fakes with real.

Wonderland also has wave 1 although had sold out of several of the figures and Optimus in North Point yesterday.

How old was that post you quoted?

As far as I know there is no "TF warehouse" in Hong Kong anymore.
However there are loads of great places to go Transformers hunting depending on what you're looking for.

Hope you're enjoying the city despite the heat. :)

That warehouse is called ToyZone and is in Taikoo.

It is a shell of its former self so it's probably not worth the trip.

That post was a few years old.

Oh yeah - I wouldn't call ToyZone a TF warehouse, although the store is IN a warehouse.

Also be wary of some of the second hand and commission items when there.
They don't do due diligence on the commission items they sell. In recent times I have seen fake Encore Shockwaves there as well as real boxes with cheap KO figures inside - about 2 months back they had a KO Jetwing Optimus Prime in a real Hasbro box at the REAL expensive price, another time they had a different fake Prime in a real Takara box.
To get the most out of Toyzone you really need to know what you are looking for so you don't get duped. Double and triple check what's inside the box before buying.
Toyzone sell a MASSIVE range of figures - everything from GI Joe to Star Wars to DC to Ghostbusters and any obscure figures or cars you can think of but as they mostly do re-selling they don't look into the authenticity of figures so I always caution buyers to beware while there. You can get some really interesting older figures from them from time to time though so if time permits and you know your stuff it can be worth a visit.

Hi, where are good spots to get NuRID Legions? TRU in Harbour City had very little choice and I can't find any Legions at Sino City or Inns Point.

In fact, where are the good places for TF hunting near Mong Kok?

Basically I'm after Legion and Warrior class Bisk, are they even out in HK yet?

    Hi,

TRU never had a good selection, don't bother with them.

Try Wanchai, Tai Yuen Street. There are 3-5 toy stores there always with the latest items.

Otherwise the best option is to order from Robotkingdom who are in HK. They could ship to your address within 1-3 days depending on order timing.

You're a bit late off the mark. Bisk has pretty much been sold out for ages. Last time I saw a warrior one was at Aeon in Taikoo Shing but that was a while back. Remember collectors and fans here buy their figures (and effectively sell out the popular ones) the second they are released (unless you go the online route).

Unicronic is right - if anyone is going to have it toy street in Wan Chai MIGHT although of late their selection has been a lot less than in previous years. (and be wary of the fakes if looking at other lines - a-la movie figures - as a couple of stores there intermingle the fakes with the real).

Did you look at Hobbybase on the 3rd floor of Sino Centre? He often has a selection of RID2015 (although more often than not mostly the Japanese release stuff as he too generally sells out a lot of the more popular figures in pre-order).

Hobbybase is one of the few places I know, and he didn't have any Warrior or Legion Bisks. I am on a lobster hunt in HK... lol.

I was in Wan Chai today and no Bisk. They had legion Clampdown and warrior Paralon though. The pickings in Wan Chai are pretty disappointing if you're a Transformers collector right now unfortunately.

Plan to hit HK next week for a day, what's a good place to get the latest 3rd Party MP, or KO MP? Specifically YM-05 Thrust, or FT Grinder (if it's even out).

I'm not up on the best places as the time and travel costs looking around HK stores is equal or greater than local shipping to my front door.

However, to assist you here's a few tips:

Check out HK based ecommerce stores like RobotKingdom and Robotoybase (formerly Chimungmung). They will provide updates on the day of release for brand new items. If they don't have them, they're not out.

Look at Yahoo HK auctions. A lot of real stores sell their goods there for a 'buy now' price which is also a good indication of what is out and what is AND where to get them from.
