I was watching Beast Wars and I had noticed that Transmetal Rattrap was perfect for an Infiltrator Class character in FoC. That got me thinking of what other characters could possibly be included outside of G1 characters, such as Optimal Optimus or Megatron in Titan or Silverbolt (BW) in Scientist, etc.

Now, this isn't a thread making suggestions for character DLC, but rather, a question.
Should there be more DLC beyond the upcoming Insecticons, what are the chances of a non-G1 character ever showing up? And this isn't pertaining to just Beast Wars. Characters such as Vector Prime from Cybertron, Animated Shockwave, whatever.

 

Duh! The more DLC the better! It'll be super expensive if they have tons of DLC but who cares, it's a great game and I'll gladly support HMS as well as my craving for characters!

 

Personally I'd rather they stuck to G1 characters.

 

I would love to play as Waspinator (scientist). A new BW pack is some content that I would pay for.

 

G1 is nice, but there are just so many characters beyond cars with minor variations between each other.

Waspinator would be neat. Personally, I'd kind of want to play as a Titan size Rampage (BW) with his tank-crab form (That 3rd form Transmetals get) being his alt  

 

All the "DLC" is already locked on the disc. I doubt we'll see more than that what we already have.

 

I understand that. This question was based on the off chance they do make actual, new content.

That'd be awesome, but I doubt I'll want to pay $30 for original, and new, content, if they're already charging $10 for disc-locked content.

Still if a new pack was released, while I wouldn't mind new parts and armor sets, give me new maps, map obstacles, weapons, and abilities. More variety in equipping your character instead of, "Oh here's a Titan running towards me... I wonder if he's going to try whirlwind?"

 

Well what I'd rather liked to have seen is some old school game unlocks for at least a couple characters, not just dlc. They did it with wfc, and dotm they could have at least done it for foc too. Speaking of other continuities, I really think they had a wasted chance at not offering the dotm characters as playable in both campaign and mp as either unlocks or dlc since they already have the assets from the dotm game. That leads to another question why not a wfc optimus but instead zeta prime when he wasn't even in foc or even mentioned?

 

If you want to talk about missed opportunities, then it's the lack of TF: P tie-in DLC.

 

This would give players with the DLC a unfair advantage causing the game to be unbalenced

 

I'm all up for some Nostalgia DLC but please... for the love of god...
NO BEAST WARS/MACHINES characters, the Dinobots derping around looks stupid enough, we dont need cheetahs and rats running around too... just... no.

Actually, I was thinking like Rattrap driving around in his Transmetal body, Rampage being in his tank form, and etc.

I would be perfectly fine if they altered them to better fit with the FoC design aesthetic.
