Hot cats! "New, stronger engines". Actually, with global warming/peak oil in the offing, they probably should make these plutonium-fuelled

If I had 60K USD, you can be DAMN sure I'd spend it on a brand-new DeLorean.

I've been hearing about a Delorean revival for years, and I still don't believe it.

I will believe it when I see a prototype of it.

This may be the '04 spec' upgrade that someone did, if you play Gran Turismo 4 that's got the more powerful version of the DMC12 in it, and it's pretty good!

I think they're actually working on some deal where when you buy one of the new Deloreans from specific locations it comes installed with a big barrel full of zhivago in the back seat

By any objective standard, DeLoreans are pretty horrible to mediocre cars, but people love them for their quirks. As long as they don't overextend themselves like Baldwin did making their 200k Camaros, more power to them.

If I had the cash, I'd buy a new DeLorean in a heartbeat.

Still better than a Bricklin, despite the similar styling.

I always thought that the DeLorean was one of the coolest looking cars ever made.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat if they were selling for something closer to what a Mustang GT costs. Sadly, I'd imagine price will go up substantially before they even consider starting to possibly think about increasing production at all (let alone enough to facilitate a $20K drop).

Honestly, I'd rather have one of the models from the 80's.

My highschool gym teacher owned a bright yellow '83 DeLorean DMC-12. However the hell he afforded it on his salary is beyond me.

From what I have read, I don't think they are a great car, but they are pretty cool to look at.
