This is, IMO, WAY over the line. Remakes are too damn overplayed nowadays but THIS is just a miserable idea and a disgrace to the memory of Bruce Lee.

Yeah, no thank you. Re-tread the idea, maybe; call it "Mortal Kombat, the Movie" or something, but I really don't want to see a remake ... it just wouldn't be right.

Whateva, more martial arts is good with me. Go ahead and cast Tony Jaa because you know it's only a matter of time before he ends up in something like this.

I wouldn't mind seeing this if it is done well. Either way, this will never replace what Bruce did in Enter the Dragon. That film will always stand on its own. Sounds more like Fight Club than Mortal Kombat in terms of violence.

Not with a movie this classic. Enter The Dragon is THE seminal martial arts movie, and Bruce Lee's last. Remaking it is a fucking travesty on every level.

How? It's not like the original is going to be burned and discarded in a crypt or anything.

2 VERY good reasons right there. Enter The Dragon hasn't been beaten since it was made. Why the chuff they feel the need to remake it (except, of course, in the hope it will make money) is totally beyond me.

And remakes are usually an insult to the source material. Remake Hairspray all you want Hollywood, you can't make crap into worse crap, well maybe you can, but still leave Bruce Lee alone man.

It's just a movie, stop acting like Bruce Lee's invisible memory is going to be tarnished.

Theres already been numerous remakes of his other movies so this doesnt come as a shock to me. Fist of legend was a pretty good remake of the Chinese Connection. and no to Tony Jaa. I never got into his movies because his personality just plain sucks and there is so much elbows and knees I can take.

    this is sad..

it's like saying that the original isn't good enough for today's standards and there needs to be a "hipper generation x y z blah" upgrade...

    come on...
