    My favorites are ones that don't claim they are remakes but might as well be. Like I just saw a trailer for Branded which looks like a rip off of They Live. I've seen other examples like that in recent history. That's worse to me because it's more or less plagiarism.

    The Problem with Todays Hollywood is that instead of coming up with something new
    they are remaking all the films from the 70s - 90s for people who are too god damnbed lazy to watch the original version.

    Well in the case of Nukem high and Toxic avenger, they were indie films on a very tight low budget originally, now the creators of the original want to make a big budget version now that they have some money. At least it's not some other studio taking over the property and changing everything that made it work in the first place. So they might be decent.

    But yes for the most part Hollywood is creatively Bankrupt.
