I tried searching this forum for a topic about holiday films (and specials) everyone likes to watch, but couldn't find anything. If there is already such a thread, then feel free to lock or delete this thread.

So, which holiday films do you guys and gals like to watch during the holiday season?

    I'll start:

    1) A Charlie Brown Christmas
    2) A Christmas Carol -- I watch both the George C. Scott and Patrick Stewart versions
    3) How the Grinch Stole Christmas -- the animated one, which is a definite classic
    4) The Nutcracker Prince
    5) It's a Wonderful Life

    Honorable Mentions:

    1) Mickey's Christmas Carol
    2) Toy Tinkers -- a Disney cartoon from the 1940s, starring Donald Duck and Chip & Dale; it's very hilarious!
    3) Home Alone 1 & 2
    4) The Clock Watcher -- another Disney cartoon from the '40s starring Donald Duck who works in the gift wrapping department of a big store
    5) It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown -- not as memorable as the very first Christmas special, but entertaining nonetheless

Huh, I didn't think that Die Hard was a holiday movie until I looked it up on Wikipedia and saw that the film was about terrorists taking over a building where a Christmas party was taking place. Same thing with Lethal Weapon and Gremlins.

For a minute there, I was like "WTF does Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, and Gremlins have to do with the holidays?" So now I know...

    Definitely National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Also Love Actually is one of my personal holiday favorites.

And I'm starting to warn up to Just Friends as a new holiday comedy favorite.

Not to mention all the others already mentioned countless times.
