Chris Latta has my full support.

Furman I begrudgingly acknowledge. He might not be able to write character or dialogue worth shit these days (apart from his pets), but he is responsible for some of the more mythological elements of the franchise.

Fantastic choices, and both certainly worthy.

Great choices. And I think it's great that Latta is being inducted posthumously. I had wondered if they might overlook him in favor of others who are still alive.

Two TF greats that deserve the recognition of the Hall of Fame. I'm only sad that Frank Welker has still not been honored. There really needs to be more than just two people honored per year.

I kinda feel like Chalk and Kaye should be in there before Latta for the sheer volume of their work and time spent in the franchise, but Furman's at least one year overdue for inductance, so I'm happy to see that.

While I fully support Latta getting a nod, it would be nice to see Welker get recognized as well.

Perhaps Latta's daughter will accept his award on his behalf. Isn't she... erm... easy on the eyes, if I recall correctly? :confused2

While I like that they are being inducted, David Kaye, Gary Chalk, and Frank Welker really need to get in there too

I doubt Frank Welker will get HOF anytime soon. If he was, it should of been in the previous two years, due to his contribution to franchise. And I think in the first year, they honored 4 people, including Peter Cullen, in the first Hall of Fame.

This. I was kinda pissed to see Spielburg and Bay get in before FURMAN. Hopefully Chalk and Kaye get the recognition they deserve next year.

My theory on why Welker has apeared yet is because they want Frank to show up at BotCon and at the ceremony and once again he couldn't attend.

As for Simon Furman and Chris Latta getting inducted this year. Awesome.
