Not a whole lot of interesting things, mostly anime PVCs and various cars and models.

But I wept at the sight of this: http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS09097. Haven't decided if that's because of the crazy-low price, the fact that I can't afford it, or that it's not the remote-control version. OR that if I had somehow gotten it, I'd be forced to pick up Gaira too.

The Chara Blok Pokemon sets are hilarious.

And the Diablock stuff is just crazy. Same guys that did the Convoy set.

I've been abusing the hell out of that sales for months now. Must have saved a couple hundred dollars.

    I saw anywhere from 15% to 80%.

Amazingly, I was able to look at the Aliens Ripley in Power Loader at 50% off without clicking "BUY THIS".

Couldn't resist the 1/48 Stealth VF-1J. It's going to look sweet next to my Chunky's.

The stealth is pretty damn awesome. For those of you who don't worry about macross canon and just want a nice transformable valkyrie, I heartily recommend it. It's big and pretty and awesome. Just don't break it.

Those Valks are a funny thing. I always liked the style but never really got into the series. But the toys are pure joy. This will be my first Yamato BTW.

    DON'T BREAK IT.

I have to qualify the praise that Yamato's 1/48 VF-1 mold gets. Yes, it's a fantastic mold. Yes, it looks great in all 3 modes. Yes, you will have lots of fun transforming it. Yes, it is the most durable of Yamato's transforming toys.

But it's still pretty damn fragile compared to, say, any toy from Hasbro's Transformers. Treat your Valkyrie like a vintage G1 Shockwave. Do NOT treat your Valkyrie like Armada Prime.

I kinda want that 1/12 Scopedog, but shipping would probably not be worth it in the end.

The 1/18 Takara version is much better.
