this is all the changes they have made to the demo
Good to know, though they seem to have nerfed the Infiltrator to hell and back.
Increase shield health (waiting for title update)
Change melee animations (waiting for title update)
Increase melee damage (waiting for title update)
Additional color options (waiting for title update)
now i know why the path blaster is so over powered. they increased the speed.
I"m very impressed how HMS is handling this.
I never knew changing that stuff was so damned easy.
No! Please don't increase melee damage!!! That was the bane of my existence and its nerf is the only reason I'm any good!!!
Wanna see the melee animations, though.
Thank GOD melee damage is going to get boosted. Let's face it....melee is practically worthless in this game. In WfC it was viable and you could use it to open or finish off...but in this game I'm not feeling it. Having it boosted is going to do me a world of good.
Just practice man, you'll get better at it.
Melee doesn't need a change. It shouldn't be some über attack. It should be just another part of your rotation up close. And this is coming from a destroyer main who relies more on melee than anyone (since all my weapons hurt me too).
I actually enjoy the prolonged battles. Before we had bunny hop fights. Now we have real CQC where the best player wins. Love it.
i'm happy melee is getting a boost. other wise why even bother using it. hope the controls are speedier then in the demo. hate having to wait to change weapons or melee
I know what you mean. I died all the time because melee was so powerful in WFC, they better not raise it too much.
As an Infiltrator, I feel that the damage of melee now is totally not in my favor. There's no point in going in close for melee when it's much safer for me to engage with the scatter blaster and do more DPS. At scatter blaster range I can still dodge out of the way of a Titan whirlwind and disengage if I need to, whereas if I were to be in melee range I'm taking hits from Whirlwind before I can really escape.
It doesn't need to be god tier damage like in WfC, but it definitely needs a boost in damage. Enough to make me feel worthwhile in using it, because it feels just not worth it currently.
All you need to do is practice. You'll get better at it.

Also, FOC made me better at WFC.
Well see there you go. Don't give up. Remember a boost in melee also helps you as well. Don't sell yourself short.
I just think the WFC melee is overpowered. I always die in WFC, and I'm always awesome in FOC.
I like melee the way it is now, especially when I'm using the energon harvester. I shoot, melee, and then shoot again, and that normally does the job. If you use the slime cannon first, it only takes one shot and one melee.
