And of course Blackout is on back-order. So likely not available.

United comes out to be 22 bucks a pop. Great price but dependent on the price of shipping. 50% off FEDEX doesn't mean much to me yet unless I can buy bulk at a time. Per se 10 United figures at once. I wish they were not so separated in terms of the release date.

The prices aren't good enough for me to buy products off the site that will be released at US retail anyways (regardless of whatever paint apps may be changed). But Japan-exclusive stuff, now that's something to appreciate. If Animated Blackout was in stock. :)

Unfortunately, Blackout is a "red-square item", which according to the site means:

"Out-of-stock items are displayed with squares (in-stock items with circles). The colors are based on how long customers who have ordered the item have been waiting to get it. Red squares indicate items for which customers have been waiting for more than 60 days.

Depending on the item, we reorder merchandise anywhere from twice a week to once a month. Because of this reorder cycle, items that have been out-of-stock for 60 days or more are also probably out-of-stock at the manufacturer, since it doesn't take more than two months to fill backorders for available items. The chances of getting items with red squares in the short-term is not good. Remember, you can still place an order anyway. HobbyLink Japan will watch your backorder for you until the item comes in, or we know for certain it's impossible to get it. "

Wow, that's awfully sweet. I'll have to crunch some numbers, see if it makes sense to get United Megatron from them instead of as part of a BBTS Loot Pile.

Sounds good - the move may also tempt back some buyers who have moved on to cheaper shops such as Amiami.jp - me included!

I've had him on order for a couple of months now, so I don't hold out hope of them getting any more in. I'm keeping my order there just in case though.

Q: Did Japan not get a Voyager-class Animated Thundercracker either?

No Animated Thundercracker. I don't understand why Hasbro and Takara hate Thundercracker so much.

I've seen those United price a few days ago, and they sure are great, about the same as the Henkei before them (Henkei were around 24$ if I remember). So again I will definitly pick the Japanese version if it appeal more to me :D

Nope they're not getting any more. Though the figure came out months and months ago, you guys shouldn't expect another re-release. They got the initial stock and then a couple weeks after that more in, since then I don't think they'd get any more. It's not often TakaraTomy re-releases a figure, so I'd say your chances are slim of another shipment.

I've had mine preordered from them for months, I hope that the discounted prices apply to pre-existing orders.

Nope, those were mail away items. HLJ doesn't carry that kind of stuff usually.

    Nope. Just the Activator.

Hmm... I wonder how this will affect early bird pre-orders? Should those of us that pre-ordered MP Rodimus under the early bird cancel and reorder or should we wait and see? I guess I could always email them :)
