Well Matt confirmed a multiplayer demo before the game ships. And no limited edition.

 

I welcome the high praise and it was nice to see some new footage of the multi-player modes.

There will be a multiplayer only demo on XBL and PSN before the launch.
No limited edition, but it is heavily implied that there will be one for the sequel if it gets one.
The big bots (OS and Trypticon) may be playable in the sequel if it gets one.
DLC by HMS still on the fence.
It is implied that the TFs can fall great heights without dying and some levels require doing so at certain points to progress.

Did he give any kind of time frame for the demo? Before release isnt that helpful considering release is less than 3 weeks away now.

Thank you Hiphop Gamer for asking questions so many other interviewers wouldn't or forgot to ask! Knowing there won't be a limited edition helps with the selection process. I've pretty much made up my mind--my game is pre-ordered--but should a better character show up elsewhere, I'll simply cancel my current pre-order and jump to the next one.

Online multi-player before they ship is going to be fantastic! Uncharted 2 was out a week or so before it shipped and the demo ended I think the day it shipped, IIRC. I wonder if WFC will do the same. UC2's demo helped with the long wait for the game to come out  

The last frame of the video interview is nothing but lols, the fear in Matts eyes is gold!



EDIT:

They ship in North America on 6/22/2010. I don't know when it ships elsewhere, but I have to assume the UK and Australia aren't far behind if at all, as pre-order in those two locations is already underway. Japan still doesn't have any news, but as this interview was done in America, one should assume the demo is for the North American audience only--start making your account now if you don't already have one

The interviewer looks like hes probably never held a gun a day in his life.

His enthusiasm was great though. It was like he was a kid all over again. That's the way I feel when I see this game.
