Here's a place to post any tips to becoming a better player. First two aren't about fighting tactics really.

    1. Play to have fun, not to absolutely dominate the field.

    2. Don't be that guy that stands at the area where the enemy respawns and just takes them out.

    3. A bit obvious, but utilize the utilities around the map(Intercooler, energon, etc.).

    4. Don't take on enemies you know you can't beat alone. You'll die, the other team will gain from it obviously. If you're playing as a scout or a scientist, hang around bigger guys and give them a hand.

    What do you guys say?

Try to constantly evade enemies when in close to confuse them.

Also, make sure you don't activate Whirlwind unless you know you can hit enemies with it.

The dash move is godly, if used right it's more effective than double jump ever was.

Never have just one guy defending an objective. I can't stress this enough; a surefire way to lose ctf is to have a solitary teammate defending. Even if (s)he is good enough to effectively and consistently take more than one enemy down, that flag can travel while working up the chain of attackers to the carrier.

Get a feel for the weapons; they more than most anything should determin how and where you move around a given map.

Don't get caught in vehicle mode in range of an enemy's weapon.

A robot can walk sideways faster than a firing Scrapmaker can keep up. Use this to wear down a zealous Titan with little fear of taking damage.

Truck and Tank are useful bombardiers. Support team-mates from afar, or strike an unaware enemy with explosive damage, than transform and finish them.

A healing Scientist should stick closely to Destroyers and Titans, since they are bigger targets and have defensive abilities themselves. Scouts are better at keeping themselves alive with cloaking, the grenades and their speed than the big brutes.

In Conquest, DON'T run around and randomly kill everyone. It's node control. Teams of 2-3 work best. If you are with your 4 teammates at node C and see a lone guy over at B, GO HELP. Same for the start of the match, EVERYONE doesn't have to go to the closest node. It's pretty nerve-wracking trying to take a node solo while your other teammates are scattered and there is no gunfire anywhere. That generally means you're about to have company.

Here's something the game doesn't tell you, though it should! This will especially help you when going for the Capture the Flag trophy with or WITHOUT team support/boosting!

You cannot capture the enemies flag (or should I say, "score") if your team's flag isn't on its base when you return with the enemies flag! This is important! Trying to do so otherwise, will result in 0 points scored and a message on the flag base telling you to wait. As I never played capture the flag before in any game, I had no idea how it was supposed to be done.

Anyway, with that part out of the way. I suggest using an infiltrator and cloak with the fast regeneration option--turning cloak off while under cover, will insure a quick restart when you really need it;)

I achieved this trophy on the convoy stage--it's pretty much a straight line from your base to the enemies. Hugging the left side (the side with the inter-cooler) is a good place to start, as you that baby will reset your ability to cloak very quickly. Run! Don't fight!

Cloaking just outside the entrance, behind the metal covering will shield your presence as you enter and capture the flag--you will decloak the moment you take it so, turn around and back track the way you came or head straight and head and hug the right side on the way out and grab the life recharger or Energon cube just past it and to the left of the tunnel exit--DO NOT travel down the middle, as it is a maze of traps that is bound to get you found and blasted to bits. Hug the walls and use the tunnels and overhead bridges to shield you from the jets.

This can be done without boosting/team support, though it is obviously easier if you have help.

1.) Whenever someone gets close to you, whip out the whirlwind attack and go crazy. As soon as you get the kill, turn it off so you can recharge it faster.

2.) Always have the energon harvester as one of your weapons. I find using it as the primary weapon is best, but many disagree

3.) The best upgrades for weapons are the ones that improve accuracy/range, even if the damage isn't so great

4.) Titans are slow, so get used to sprinting

5.) Titans are powerful, but don't let that fool you into thinking it's ok to go guns a blazin' against 6 enemies at a time
