I just got online and saw this on Yahoo:
Hijackers hold Mexican plane on runway - Yahoo! News
Looks the Federales have come to the rescue.
Yes, but you have to admit... hijackers holding a plane, with it being so close to the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks... a bit scary, don't you think?
I know, the hijackers had a different objective and this is in Mexico, but still... scary.
Nothing like 9-11, so no, not scary in the least (at least for us). I'm glad no one has been harmed yet.
El mariachi? El Guapo? El Capitan?
this is closer to the truth seeing as the Hijackers are Bolivian anyway i hope no one gets yurt except maybe the hijackers
And here I was editing my original statement because I thought people would think racist.
The hijackers just want to talk to the Mexican President, that's why they took that plane. I'm not quite sure what they want to talk to him about, though.
The only scary thing here is if you are going to visit or are living in Mexico. Although this actually seems a bit less scary than some of the other things that happens down there.
They updated the news. Hijacking's over:
Plane briefly hijacked in Mexico; Passengers freed - Yahoo! News
Nobody was hurt. Thank God.
So the plane didn't go boom? I suddenly lost all interest in this topic.
Well... it's back to the old boring discussions, I guess...
where the hell were the cops with the crap that happened in juarez 2 days ago?
pone tu labios a me colo, tonto policias.
religious wackjobs oi XD im glad everyone is okay
Is everything ever going to remind us of 9/11? I mean seriously. Yeah,it was a shitty event and a bad day in history, but come on,we don't need to be all "think of it it's close to teh anniversary al quidea!!!!" everytime anything plane-related happens.
Sadly true, I lived outside Mexico City for 2 yrs and I was more worried about being "roboed" by the police, not the general public. My Mexican friends and neighbors were wonderful people, I had no worries from them at all. Just the police, lots of corruption there, a way of life, you get used to it, I'm sad to say.
