That's true, but that doesn't mean Thundercracker isn't a Seeker.

I think you might need to read Defiance again. The First Thirteen were created, and then after that their workers were created. Some of the workers were Seekers. Who says there are thirteen Seekers?

Also, Reign of Starscream treats 'Seeker' as if they're an elite Decepticon commando group. We don't know if the ancient sun-seeking Seekers are an identical group to the modern Seekers.

 

it's not the identical group, starscream's seekers are all dead (exept ramjet and skywarp), the sun-seekers are the "true" movie-seekers.

or maybe there are to groups.

Ramjet died, Thundercracker didn't.

Having not kept up with spoilers, I'm not really sure which if either group will appear/be mentioned in the film. I'm just going to wait and see what plays out, I suppose.

 

I know we've seen a 'robot' mode for the legends toy, but it looks more like a battle mode to me than a 'proper' robot mode.
