Lows: Movie deluxes are out at cheap prices in every other city in the country. FUCK.

 

HIGH: My credit card was charged by FP! The botcon seekers are officially mine.

LOWS: My credit card was charged. Oh yeah... and the whole waiting thing now.

 

HIGHS: Turned a freelance gig into a full time job.

LOWS: Went to 20 (count 'em kids) twenty different stores across North Alabama, and not only were there no movie deluxes, nobody at any store had any clue about the Hasbro press release. Nobody.

And when I found the Real Gear Booster 10, K-mart wouldn't sell it to me. They did let me see what they did have, just to see if they had movie deluxes...nope, only FAB's, more real gear and the Prime Helmet.

Prime Helmet sitting on a stock shelf, unpurchased, unattainable. Sigh.

Lows: Didn't find any Protoforms. Irish toy shops are even worse than British ones.

 

 

Hope you'll find some movie stuff soon, godsenddeath. But I really wonder how well those Protoforms sell.

HIGH: Got ML Thor and Ult Wolverine for my b-day. Also got myself the Marvel Zombies sweatshirt on clearance.

LOW: No TF Movie stuff anywhere besides the protoforms.

 

Ok, I broke down and forgot about my no-Real Gear rule and got Spyshot 6. That thing is dope. Leaving in a few minutes to get the cell phone and the camcorder.  

 

I did, but they gave me the "Yeah right" look. Besides, we don't have any Deluxe's instock as of now anyway. I'll grab the UPC and check the computer system when I go in tonight. I'll even print off a copy of the Hasbro Announcement.

Edit: Where is this announcement? All I saw one their site was a page saying that the date was NOT lifted.

 

HIGH: Went to Target today to see if movie Deluxes had hit there. Unfortunately, not a movie Deluxe toy in sight. So, I got Protoform Starscream.

LOW: To make things worse, the Target's Transformers section is in a drought. Barely ANY Transformer toy left except the movie Preview toys and a Cybertron Skywarp. WTF?

Lows:

Got a Universe Optmus Primal on the 3rd and it didn't ship until the 12th. It's being shipped UPS Ground from Jersey and I live on the oher side of the country so It's gonna take a while.
