Not much new today, but some good stuff! HIGHS - - Saw Superman Returns this afternoon. Good movie. - Alt Mirage - Wow, this is a great toy. The chest could stand to clip in place better and the knees aren't as tight as I'd like, but it looks great and is one of the more original Alternators in a long time. Excellent! - G1 vintage Scorponok (complete) - A grail that I've had my eye on for awhile. Some chrome wear, needs a thorough cleaning and Reprolabels, but otherwise in great shape and complete! This is a seriously impressive figure and a new centerpiece for my G1 collection. Expect a review as soon as I get it cleaned and fix the stickers. LOWS - It's really, really frickin' hot down here. Damn you, weather patterns!

It's been a couple of weeks since I got these, but I was too busy to take pics and show you guys. TF Highs n' Lows: - e-Hobby Deep cover and Clampdown - I love those guys! - Cybertron Skywarp. A bit meh, but now I've got all 3 Cybertron seekers. - Cybertron Menasor. What can I say. This toy is underwhelming. Non-TF haul: I recently purchased Kid Dynamite's PSP and got myself a 2 gig memory card, Logitech case, Lumines, Metal Gear Acid and Burnout Legends. PSP in its cradle, shamelessly plugging the NESkimos message boards: PSP safe in the Logitech case, ready to light out darkest hour:
Highs for me: Two thirds of a grail haul: He will be the centerpiece of my G1 collection when he's finished. He's also renewed my interest in collecting G1 decipticons. Lows: still need that one third, also blast off's arm boke out of the package. Luckily its repairable.
Sorta. A stock Logitech PlayGear Portable looks like this: The interior of the case has a removable rubber lining, so all you have to do is print a pic and slap it between the rubber lining and the polycarbonate case. The front of my case looks like this:
Highs - Got rid of cable and got a sweet deal on HD Dish TV. Let's just say it will cost us less then cable and we got SEVERAL rebates and deals. Normally the HD box costs $400, but after rebates and such it will only cost us $40! Yay! Nephew is doing great! Goes into the burn center today to get his arm checked out. Still laughing and playing, the burn not once bothered him. Lows - No new TFs in my area.
Highs: Just ordered Energon megs, CYB Shortround, BW 10th Tarantulas & CD Red alert. Got CYB Longrack & Buzzsaw today, lovin' em both! Lows: E Megs and friends still haven't shipped. CD Redalrt got cancelled.
HIGHS: Cybertron DX Unicron and Swindle, Gundam SEED Destiny Volume 2, Gun x Sword Volumes 1 & 2 (Buy one Geneon DVD get one free at FYE), Buffy The Vampire Slayer Seasons 4 and 5 Boxsets (Thinpack version) and Star Fox Assult for the Gamecube. LOWS: Are you kidding? What lows? Ok, so maybe the Argosy Casino isn't all that great but hell, I only lost $13 the entire time I was there.
