    *waits for shill-bidding claim*

Yikes, someone's got money and a whole lotta crazy.

Windowless boxes never struck me as desirable as windowed ones.

Yeah, can't be right, that's just nuts.

I might mention that I've seen that seller (can tell from the outdoor table pics) selling a Fortress Maximus including box before (same box as the other one had the insert thing/s too), but also the figure, which sold, about half a year ago.

But yet here is the box. Maybe the buyer ending up not wanting the box or striking a deal for a cheaper price without it or something but makes me a bit uneasy at this one.

Think what you want but paying that much for a box is retarded.

Or maybe some of em' are so desperate for the box (who knows maybe they lost em', old box got damaged or intend to re-sell the item) that they are willing to pay sky-high price.

    We'll never know for sure.

come on guys it has to be a BS auction. i think some ppl on ebay think they can stimulate the market with BS spiked auctions. i am not sure why this happens but i have seen it before. maybe he sold it and now is just driving up the auction for fun or to get attention seems to be working lol :)

I emailed this person a long time ago about just selling the styrofoam by itself and never got a response. I've seen a couple different auctions from this person with Fort Max boxes and foam. This one doesn't even have the foam inserts. Somebody is driving up the price. :dj

    Doesn't surprise me at all.

    Supply & Demand economics.

We all know there is a very low supply of Fort Max, and the demand for a complete Fort Max with all accessories, box, etc... is VERY high. Hence, a very high price. Some people on the demand chain have lots of money to burn so in this case they have set the demand price extremely high. Obviously this less than perfect Fort Max box must be a treasure to someone with money. :p

Whoever won this I hope this makes you happy. :D
