    Beautiful.

Although he also says it's an EARLY render.

    Thanks for the link.

But what exactly would be non-authentic about it? Obviously, it was done by ILM; the only question would be how recent it is. However, it's the same render as the blurry tradeshow one we saw months ago, but flipped. It's also the same render as the one we saw with the eyes blacked out.

Wait, so a poorly layed out graphic design website makes a fan-wallpaper and now its "officially confirmed?"

I mean, I like the design, but that site doesn't seem like an authority on anything.

    Am I missing something?

There were a couple concept images that were revealed first in wallpapers on that guy's site. However, I don't understand how that makes the Prime render "official", but more importantly I don't know what was ever "unofficial" about it.

Ummm dude, I never said anything about official confirmation did I?

"I think it is now safe to say this is real and authentic."

Just saying it really does look like this is how Optimus is going to look like in the movie.

Geez - share something and you get shot down.

    Take a chill pill.

    No probs dude. :thumb

Cory's right - again I was just trying to point out that further from jalopnik's release on his site, this one is another that just released something the same - so I think Optimus should be looking like this.

I don't think we'll be seeing anything official really until the trailer comes out.

So if this is the real deal - I love it.

Oh, he'll definitely look like this or very much like it in the film. All of the Prime leaks we have seen look roughly the same, some better than others. I think he may be the best Prime ever, but definitely the best Prime in a long time.

Prime is the only movie design I really like. He's still a little wonky for my tastes, but he definitely works. In fact, after today's toy picks, Prime is probably the only movie toy I'm holding out any hope for. It would actually be nice to get something roughly MP Convoy sized. Is it just me though, or do his cab doors look unusually tiny on his chest?

Yeah they are...hmm...I never realized those were his doors before. Granted they're just the upper halves of the doors, but the cans on his shoulders, the front cab windows, the smokestacks, and the tires all seem unusually small...hmm...

look i hate these designs as much as all of you but i think that we need to look into it a bit more...the original designs for g1 would just not work, i know it has been said but it is the truth. i think that the designs made by the guy in the art forum fucking rule. all they need are new faces and i would be happy.
there is no doubt though that i will be queing up on the first day to see the first possible screening that i can

on a lighter note i made this my background to see if the design will look any better after a little while.

Well... not what I would have done. But this is livable.

I love the detail... appreciate the effort... hate and abhor the aesthetic.

I still believe that closer to G1 is feasable. Exact G1- no. Re-engineered G1- yes.

But like I said: I guess I can live with this.

Theoretically, seeing this Prime transform should be far more impressive than anything more G1 or traditional, that is of course if it doesn't just look like an accelerated acid trip.
