Hello there. I love collecting WST figures of full-size figures that I have in my collection. I think it's a great way to display both modes without taking up much space.
Anyway, with the Predaking reissue on it's way next week, I'm wondering what's the best WST Predaking to get? I've noticed there seems to be several different ones in various sizes.
I've got the 18CM Devestator that you can see in my collection thread. The individual Constructicons that are lined up in front of G1 Devestator. Need a WST Predaking that will be suitably matched with that. Not necessarily to scale mind you, as we all know scale means absolute shit in this world.
Just want something that'll display nicely.
Also, does the WST Predaking set separate into individual's and do they transform like my Constructicon set does?
What I want to do is have my big G1 combiners in their combined form, and then have their WST counterparts in their individual forms or individual alt-modes.

Plus, why in the hell does the WST Menasor have the Technobots Afterburner as his arm? That's phucked up.

 

Nobody has WST Predaking that they can comment on?

 

The combiners are not official WST figures, just so you know.

As far as Meansor having Computron limbs, they used the KO molds and for whatever reason, the original KO used two Computron limbs.

 

Yes, I'm aware there not official and thats fine with me. I still love my Devestator even though his hip-joint is broken. Will need to replace it.
Just wanted to know which version of Predaking to get.

Wow, thats alot of $. I didnt know there even was/is Predaking WST ko. I dont have any of the ko WST, but the Takara one are very cool little TFs. Especially w/ the Reprolabels treatment. Very cool little figures!

 

I have the mini predaking from kotoys.com.. Quality is pretty amazing for being a KO. I wouldnt consider it fragile at all even really. Twice as strong at least as the normal size predaking ko.. and the mini colors are all correct. Ill take a pic later of it next to a normal size predaking but, iirc there is a side by side on kotoys.com

All I know for sure is, if you want one, its definitely worth the like 20 bucks they are, or were.

Good luck on getting your hands on a real deal Justitoys and what Blur69 and myself offer are alternatives. Looks to me theres three others up next by Just and even if Pred was to come out re-released, it's more than likely won't be until the Q3 of 2011 of Q1 2012.

Actually you're all slightly off on the Nanoscale Predaking. It was never Jizai Toys, it was GUNGS Borchitect. Says so right on the box with the random mecha-girl Predaking.

GUNGS and Jizai do work together and I think must share team members or distribution or something though so it's not completely incorrect. Jizai tends to focus on making more intricate, Studio Halfeye level transformations at Scout scale, while GUNGS focus is closer to WST resin kits.

Also, these are technically "garage kits" as they seem to involve the same level of licensing from Takara-Tomy as an anime garage kit might.

 

So I'm half-correct?  

That's an intricate piece but I doubt I'll ever pay those pricing in order to obtain one... (Sigh!)

 

Wow, I had no clue of this predakign mini, does any one know where I can get one, man that's a great figure.

 

Just wait for the Justitoys release. I thought they were releasing a Sixshot and Predaking, it might take a year and a half but it'll be way cheaper. I'm sure I read about the Sixshot but am unsure about the Predaking.
