The image they show looks like a badly photoshopped pic. It looks like they cut out THIS picture and just faded it into the ice.

Ok so maybe it looks a bit like Cap if ya squint.

Now if it was a guy in a CA suit in a crowd shot or a picture in a paper I can see getting excited. This is no different then finding SFX in the dust in Lion King when he plops down and the pollen/dust blows off.

Give me a sec, and I'll go and pop in the Blu-Ray and see what I can see :D

*Edit: I've just had a look, and it actually looks very plausible that it is Cap.
It's from the Alternative Opening, right before the scene ends.

One problem though is if it is Cap, then he's not that far under the ice.

Oh and Rick Jones name turns up at the beginning as well

The only thing that looks vaguely Captain America is the shield.

Yeah, looks poorly photoshopped ... I'd like to see a BR screencap.

And, that photo damn near needs a NSFW tag.

Hmm... the pic on /Film requires considerable squinting and wishing for me to see Cap. But I'll get a better look when my DVD gets here from Amazon next week.

I may be misremembering, but I think I saw his name pop up in the theatrical version.

IIRC They said they shot a scene where you see frozen Cap around the time the movie came out but it was cut. It was something like the movie starts in the Arctic before going to Brazil and Brucie is trying to kill himself by dropping into a snow back but just before he dies the Hulk comes out and start tearing up the country side uncovering Cap.

While it's not that much clearer on the BD disc (got my copy yesterday as it was released in the UK earlier than the US, and strangely before Iron Man :( ) it does look awfully like Cap with sheild, however the pose just looks un-natural and much like they took the image Joe posted and then stuck it under the ice.

    Pertly right.
It's from an alternative opening where Bruce has trekked up to the Arctic discarding his jacked and snow shoes and then pulls out a gun to shoot himself. As he cocked the gun you see his eyes change to green then you see his point of view looking at his hands and crushing the gun (gotta give them props for actual breaking the bit of metal below the trigger) and it going off in his hand. Hulk then pounds on the floor cracking it and the camera then shows the ice shelf break apart and the block of ice with Cap gets knocked about.

Definitely looks a little haphazard but it's still cool that they did that

The hulk movie hinted pretty heavily at a Cap movie anyway, so it's not unreasonable that they threw this in. It could be that the image is so poor because this scene was deleted before being entirely finished. Or vice versa that the imagery was rather poor and thus the deletion.

Anyone know what the Blu-ray was NOT released Day and Date with the DVD? (21st for the DVD, 24th for the BR)... kind've annoying to get up and go looking for it only to be basically left empty handed.

It wasn't under any restrictions where I work. I sold 4 copies at midnight of the release with no issues (that was Fable 2... damn wal-mart cashraps had a block in them until 3am for some unknown reason)

I think Mr. Blue in the comic was Betty.

I think the fact that Bruce was working on a "Super Soldier" project is more proof of Captain America's being in the Incredible Hulk than that horrible image.

Also, cold appears to have the opposite effect on Cap than it does on every other human male. Good Grief!
