I really like Onslaught and Silverbolt. It seems Powerglide has more white in plane mode. I wonder if it will be indictive of his final deco?

Eh, the Hasbro versions still look a lot better than these. Homages are nice, but they don't need to be 100% accurate to the origional, imo.

Yea, I'm definitely liking the Hasbro white version more. Onslaught isn't looking as nice either. I'll prolly just save some money and get all 3 from Hasbro.

I'm about even on Powerglide. I like both the white and red versions. Though on Silverbolt and Onslaught I'm definitely liking the Takara versions better. The white/red look so much better than the grayish-blue/purple-red on Silverbolt. I'm not sure if it's the lighting on Onslaught but something about the base color looks different. More green maybe? Plus I like the more subtle head colors on the Japanese version.

*shrug* either way it's just gonna be expensive if anyone wants the Japanese versions.

I'm still just not sold on Powerglide at all. Onslaught has been really growing on me. Superion is just awesome though :thumb

I was all about a red Powerglide, but all these bad and/or small unfinished products pics make me loving the white more so far. I'll still wait for some better representation of the actual product (and the price), but so far, white Powerglide is winning.

So, is Powerglide's robot mode pic messed up or what? Because it looks like it's blotchy with missing pixels or something. I kinda like the matte red color.

Anyways, glad I preordered all of them.

Heh - Powerglide's the only one where the Henkei version interests me, and the two mode imges don't even match! Jet mode is done in a reverse of the Hasbro toy, with white trim replacing red, while the robot mode is mostly red, but photo-chopped so horribly it looks like it has grunge all over it.

They definitiely need to show something better if they want my money.

Hmm...Even that pic of Powerglide's A-10 mode looks more realistic than Hasbro's 'Greenscream 2.0'. If Hasbro had made Powerglide's base color silver instead of white, it would at least have some sense of realism (and looked alot better). Even that bad photoshop hack of his robot mode makes me want to buy the Takara version more than Hasbro's version.

Further on the subject of realism, I admit it's been a few years since I've checked out the latest designs, but I would have thought something like what Silverbolt transforms into would have made the news on at least one site that I read regularly. Does anybody know if that is a real aircraft design that his alt mode is based on?

Despite the seemingly not-realistic alt-modes for Silverbolt and Onslaught (although the former could just be ignorance on my part), I'll still be getting them. However, I'm not seeing a good enough reason here to go for the Takara versions of those two.

If PG's arms are entirely red like they are in this photoshop, I might have to buy Hasbro's white version just to swap the arms. Hopefully there aren't any pesky pins holding those twenty-four inch pythons onto the wings...

Powerglide looks great to me. Onslaught as well, but Silverbolt, I don't see a change. What are the differences from Has. Silver and Takara's?

Point well taken. For once the American paint job out did the Japanese redo. The new classics like Silverbolt,Onslaught and Powerglide were given more subdued and realistic color schemes that still managed to keep enough of there character so you recognize them.but these Henkai versions are going for straight g1 toy ,which ruins the reason for giving them more detailed bodies in the first place.
