This is a small pictorial for those interested in the deco changes for Bumblebee, Ravage and Rampage included in the HFTD Rampage Among The Ruins set.

    Bumblebee

Not obvious from these pictures is that the yellow is slightly metallic as is the brown.

    There's "dirt" on Bumblebee's arms.

Painted scratches and more dirt on car doors.

    Tyres and alloys are brown.

    Ravage

The brown plastic is slightly metallic on Ravage.

The silver on the forelegs gives the impression that the paint has worn away, showing the metal underneath.

Just visible here is the misaligned Decepticon insignia on the chest. Grrrr.

    Folded up cat mode.

    Rampage

The red on Rampage has almost the hint of salmon. Again, the brown plastic is slightly metallic.

The face appears to have been dry-brushed.

    As have the forelegs.

He doesn't come with this insignia.

It's not as pink as this in person.

    Faux dirt on blade.

Meh, I'll try to find myself the single redpage. I don't want or need the other 2 anyway.

Rampage's face is disappointing. A shame, he looks good otherwise.
Ravage looks cool. The worn paint effect is especially intriguing.
If I didn't already have the first ones I'd probably have gotten this set for the Decepticon Duo.

    BumbleBee.... is BumbleBee.

Thanks for the pics! I really want the rampage from this set. He looks pretty good. But I had to pass when I saw it as I already have to rampages, two ravages, and who only knows how many bumblebee's now. Maybee I'll grab it if it ever gets clearanced.

Bumblebee looks like the one from the Evolution of a Hero set but using a deferent mold to achieve a similar effect.

I need to get a Carded Hasbro Red Rampage but they seem to have not bothered to distribute the things (same with Evac) My red Takara one was unfortunately faulty too.

Ravage tends to look better with his feet in a contrasing color than he does here, perhaps painting his claws would help a bit.

I like the weathering though in general.

Shame they made so many sets at the same time and didn't spread them out a bit more.

Perhaps a weathered Yellow Rampage might be worth doing too at some point.

I think in general I prefer the idea of camoflaging things for boxed sets or a brand new color to simply weathering them - at least with Red Rampage he's actually something that's quite hard to get a version of.

Can't wait to get my Rampage from a fellow boardie, already have the red Hasbro one in bot mode, and although this one looks a little goofy in bot mode, it looks fantastic in plow mode. The more construction vehicles the merrier.

I was going to get this set for Rampage because I was under the impression that he was identical to the Takara version. Now I think I'm just going to shell out of the extra cash for the Takara version.

In person, the red on Rampage is really pinkish and not vibrant at all. The Hasbro red version has the red as darker and deeper, where this one is almost washed out. I looked at my Red-page right after I saw this set at TrU, and they almost look like different figures altogether.
I considered getting it for the Ravage, but even that is underwhelming.
Not a bad set if you don't have any of the molds, but a pass otherwise.

    Ravage

I bought this set principally for the Ravage repaint. I quite like this deco, it's subdued colours contrast strongly with the bold colours and chrome of Recon Ravage.

    Bumblebee

I'm really not fond of Bumblebee, but I'm not fond of deluxe cars in general. I particularly dislike the missing rear lamp paint apps, but that's "par for the course".

    Rampage

Rampage was the surprise of the set for me, I like his bizarre configuration, the deco not so much. I don't like that his entire rear section (well almost) in centaur mode is brown, even if it does make for a better bulldozer.
