    Trailer hitch

Big thanks to Long HaulCreations for providing me with the DotM trailer! I used a Lego piece to create a hitch for the trailer to attach to HftD Optimus. I didn't want to alter the trailer because I hope I can also use it for my son's TFP FE Optimus...

Thanks! It will look even better (hopefully) when I get painting. I was really inspired to paint the trailer by Xeltecon's MP-10 Optimus Prime.

It came with the voyager DotM Optimus Prime in Japan, I believe. You could try messaging Long Haul (linked in the first post) for details :thumbs2:

But that definitely costs more than $30.

    3-6-13 update

Wow, it's been almost a year since I first worked on this guy! I painted him some last night. As you can see from the pics, he still needs quite a bit of paint and chrome work. Maybe I'll get that done in another year :)
After taking these pics, I shaved down the hole peg of the trailer so is would be more level when hooked up to Optimus. I may have to shave it a little more later on...

You should remove trailer wheels section, then add some thickness on that part and put everything back together.

Basically with that you raise the back part of the trailer instead attempting to lower the front part.

    That should level the trailer.

    Thanks savio!

Too late, I already shaved down the hole post...

Thanks Andy! I'm just going to be using Chrome Foil. It can get kind of wrinkly and doesn't look as good as other chroming methods, but I'm able to do it at my job here and there...
