    I just placed an order for ol Luggy today and I was curious which setting he fits better in with? Is he more CHUG or Movieverse inspired?

    Mandible-like fingers and toes mixed with an expressionless / non-humanoid face makes me say movieverse. But this question is completely and utterly a matter of opinion.

    I personally keep him with Classics.

    Right now I have him with classics. But im putting him with the prime line when it comes out.

    I put him classics, myself, which kind of retcons him into G1.

    Of course, that's not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination.

    he goes with classics no doubt about it

    he isn't like seaspray, who is a moviefigure that for some reason people keep putting on their classics shelves and it sticks out and looks bad

    bludgeon, i am torn about where to put him, but for now he goes on the movie shelf

    Lugnut is G1/classics, 100%

    He was released in the United line in japan.
    He's in the japanese Generations comic featuring Stepper.
    He's in the Rodimus vs. Cyclonus pack-in comic in the assault on autobot city.

    Yeah, fuck what Hasbro says, they only designed the thing. :p  (read notes here)

    That is entirely a personal opinion. Do you have any right to say you don't like Seaspray's voyager being put with classics? Yes. Do you have any right to say that other people (myself included) are being misguided in putting him in our classics displays? No. While this is a vastly outdated picture of my collection, here's proof Seaspray fits right in with the Classics:

    Except he doesn't... at all.

    He doesn't have any exposed inner works, no sharp over-lapping panels, and he has fairly human proportions.

    However just because he doesn't exactly resemble Seaspray from G1 he's movie? No.

    He's one of those figures that could easily go into either type of collection.

    It's worth noting that there is a recent comic done in the old Marvel style that features numerous CHUG figures... including RTS Lugnut.
