Saw this guy at the grocery store today - thought he might make a good stand in for Brawn.
I'm not crazy about many of the movie figures. I would say no, but that's just for me. If you like it, go with your own instinct. I can see him working.
With a good paint job, yea I agree, he'd be a good stand in for Brawn.
I think he makes a better Brawn than the actual Brawn figure. Now they need to make the Outback repaint version. Maybe call it Sandpit?
Not really a fan of the movie figures myself, but Firetrap really made an impression. I'll have to check eBay and see what the Legend Brawn is going for - might be cheaper to get Firetrap...
I like the Scattorshot mold a LOT, and the colors on Firetrap are awesome as well. Just take off the guns and BAM, that's a pretty decent Brawn.
I have him and like him a lot... I think he would make a great Brawn (without being repainted)
i don't like the head or the feet....if you twist his shins around in bot mode he looks better i think....with the plow behind his legs instead of in front....but he can't quite pull off his alt-mode if i do that.
he's still a nice toy though. i just wish some of the rotf scouts weren't so ape-ish in their proportions, but whatever.
I think he makes a good Brawn if you're aiming for a Scout version. Barring the honkin' guns, of course, which are totally out of character for him. Personally I use a repainted '07 Stockade, which I think suits him far better.
I totally use him as my classics Brawn. Without the guns of course.
No way! I hope we get a proper classics Brawn. We got a nice Windcharger and now Warpath, so I'm holding out hope for a true homage to the ol' brawler.
hes good for know but he has paint flaws but hes 2nd to having a true deluxe classics brawn
Great repaint! One of the only scouts I bought from ROTF...
The original blue one didnt look right to me... Too bright for a military truck...
The green one looks more realistic. Small, but one heck of a little scout...
Tons of details. And alot of paint, too.
I call mine Brawn, too! Ha!
I think I may purchase this and give it my first attempt at re-sculpting a head. With a new head he will be much better and not really need a repaint... but I'm not sure there is enough interest from one of the more experience part makers to do this.
I think I'm going to finally cave and get one of these for my Brawn. I just can't justify spending over $20 for the legend version.
this legends is going for 20$? wow. I would have tossed him in a box when i got my fire trap. i don't care much for the legends (i have the minibot runs from last year), as their scale is way too small (besides wheelie)
