He is very movie accurate and much better than the Voyager. I don't care much for the drone; I just leave it on his arm. But, yeah, this guy is great.

I picked mine up about three weeks ago but couldn't get into it.

Prefer the voyage if I'm being honest.

As much as I like the figure... I can't help but to wish he was bigger... I just can't. If this were a voyager, or heaven only help us with this, a Leader, He would be perfect. Not to high jack your post, but a picture of what I mean.

Ironhide is sweet - easily my favorite of the new round of figures to come out.

And that pic basically killed the figure for me. I was thinking about picking up the new BB and IH to have better scaling, but it looks like I might just pick up BB. I'm content with my Voyager IH right now, and am realy hoping a Leader version is in the works.

Something about deluxe Ironhide and Ratchet has always bothered me.

I feel like these molds where rushed.

    Maybe its just me.:drunk

I don't mind deluxe Ratchet, since the only thing that bothers me with that figure is his arms. IH just seems stumpy to me, and way too small.

Well of course he's going to look small if you put him next to the new Bumblebee. But put him with deluxe Ratchet, battle blade Prime or even the Starscream voyagers, and I have a feeling that he will look fantastic. :)

I think that he's supposed to complement NEST DX Ratchet - that's the picture to show I think.

I'll post a pic of them together later today. Or if somebody else has both of them and takes a pic that would be fine, too.

I think he's great. With that said, I'm not really concerned with scale. I just like my movie bots to be relatively screen accurate.

I'm the same way. I prefer screen accuracy over scale.

Oh wow, he's much shorter than Ratchet. Very disappointing. That and the non-accurate left arm cannon may make this a pass for me. (I have Jungle Attack Ironhide, and I expect IH to get some love in the TF3 line.)

I saw Ironhide just now at TRU.. Decided not to get him coz it was smaller than I expected it to be.. Maybe one day, Hasbro will do a similar one in Voyager scale... I ended up getting Leader Starscream in the end :)

I took a chance on this little guy and compared him to my kitbashed Recon Ironhide, and he stacks up pretty favorably. Undeniably more accurate to the movie look, but very small.

That said, as cool as he is, he leaves me a bit sad as the search for the perfect movie Ironhide is still on for me. I'm a bit encouraged that one will be made, since there's one more movie to go and Hasbro seems pretty committed to the Human Alliance line. I just hope they're committed enough to build a Human Alliance Ironhide big enough (which will probably require a bigger price point...or even better, a leader-class attempt for Ironhide...). Really, all they'd have to do to make a perfect Ironhide is port this deluxe into a bigger scale, just with more detail and better weapons.

I like this little dude, but I'm paranoid to see him as acceptable with the upcoming voyager Prime and NEST Ratchet. I get the feeling that as soon my money tells Hasbro I'm cool with them making smaller figures, the quicker they'll start to make all standard movie toys at smaller scales...the same rationale that they used to concentrate Marvel figures at the 3.75" range.

I was (and still am, I guess) curious about the Deluxe Ratchet and Ironhide molds...

I'm the type who likes a cool toy, but character and colorscheme are a factor I can't help, too. If these were the only versions of the characters, I'd have scatched em up in a heartbeat... but as far as Movie characters go, the size really bugs me. I've seen a white/red repaint of Ratchet somewhere - might pick that up for "repurposing", and while this guy looks very cool, I find myself wanting a repaint as a reason to grab some form of this mold.

This guy's chestplate or that neck plate does not lock into place anywhere does it? Ugh, reminds me of TF1 voyager Ironhide. Yes I have both. New one is just decent, but small.

Scale aside, does anyone have any legitimate gripes that make it not worth $12 ($12.71 after tax for me)?

I really like Ironhide as a character... I really want something for the character, but all I have is the Recon version, and I don't think that fits the bill at all. I looked at the Premium voyager, but damn if that isn't expensive.
