Loved this character so much from the HFTD line. He is one of the best looking and proportioned of all the scout figures. He was disassembled and I repainted him using Testors acrylics and enamels and finished him off in Dullcote. I gave him the name dropshot. He is an old micromaster that looks somewhat similair to Breacher in vehicle mode. Hope everyone likes.

Very nice. He really looks very worn, which fits this mold. I look forward to more. :)

Thanx man! This is my first custom repaint and I'm pretty proud of it.

Thanx guys. I'm debating whether I should auction this on ebay or not. Put a lot of work into this and don't know if I can part with it just yet.

Actually, I thought Breacher would make a good Dropshot the second I saw him. Trouble is, it actually looks less like Dropshot now than it did before, unless that's just a case of the photos not doing the colours justice (Dropshot was already a fairly Breacher-ish blue, with green robot parts, a grey turret gun and red detailing, for those who don't know).

That said, I do like the weathered paintjob. It'd be nice to see some better photos of it. :)

Ah yes, he looks nothing like Dropshot now. You are right, Dropshot was a blue vehicle with red and green accents. I only took the name based on the alt mode itself. Dropshot was also a Decepticon (for those who didn't know). I am sorry the pictures are kinda poor, as my light box kinda sucks. I am adding new ones with this post. No vehicle ones though. Even though he has been been sealed, there is still a chance of chipping the paint. Hope these look a little better.

Ah, those are much better. :D
And fair play with the name. It's a fine name, and it's not like TFs haven't shared before (Micromasters are especially used to it :p ).

That they are. I glad those pictures are better. It took some playing with the light box and those are the best pics out of probably 100.

I'm kinda waiting for Hasbro to come out with their repaint called Bodyblock so I don't end up repeating what they do but I have ideas.
