This was a commission for my wife's friend, for her husband. He has a silver 2010 Camaro, and she wanted a toy to match. I have the same car, so I had some pretty good source material. Flat black and drybrushed robot bits, metallic silver with three coats of gloss lacquer for the car body. Lots of areas for paint to rub on this guy, glad he's done. After Sidearm Sideswipe, I'm ready for some color.

    Anyway, thanks for looking!

Ha, yeah. The guy has a superman decal on the rear window, with some tribal flames surrounding it. Those were WAY too small to recreate, so I just simplified the outer shape. The stripes and rear window decals are both cut vinyl. The pinstripe on the racing stripes is 1/64" thick. I'm actually surprised they cut as well as they did.

Thanks, guys. The wife LOVED it. Had to explain to her that its not something she should let her kids play with, though.

DAMN! That is some slick work man, have you ever did any gundam models? The detail you put in this reminds me of some models I have seen.

You know, besides a couple of War Machines, I've only painted TFs. Maybe I should expand my horizons.
