Hi, I've just noticed that my sig picture is being blocked. It's been replaced with a note saying that religious/political pictures are not allowed.

In case you don't know, my sig is a picture of an elephant with the slogan "vetoed" written over the top.

Obviously I'll happily abide by the decisions of moderators; but I would be interested to know how this picture could be decribed as religious or political.

The inspiration behind the sig is an episode of the UK sci-fi series 'Doctor Who'. In the episode 'The Dalek Invasion of Earth', the evil alien Daleks have taken over the planet, and, bizarrely, banned elephants!

I find the image to be really funny, and besides - it's a really obscure geek reference as well!

A screenshot from the 1965 episode in question can be found below:

And here's my banned sig, clearly inspired by the same:

Please help, this one has me puzzled, big time!

The elephant is a symbol of the Republican party in the US. So a big VETOED over an elephant could be construed as a political statement.

Thanks for being understanding about the issue.

    Thanks for the speedy reply!

Being from the UK, I honestly had no idea about the elephant=Republican thing.

My apologies if I've offended anyone.
