So I was finally starting to put away my IH and Ratchet and there he was. That bastard that sticks out as a sore thumb. Alternator Wheeljack. First off that mold is all wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. I could understand almost passing for the G1 figure, but he comes no where close. Sure he maybe a decent Alternators figure, but just call it anyone else. He is not Wheeljack!

Sure there are other Alternators that we will need replacing like Sunstreaker. However, with the Lambo license, Takara should take care of him (hopefully).

Now, Takara is not getting the license to build Wheeljack. So who do we need to step up and hit it out of the park. YES YOU, IGEAR! Please, for the love of god, make him for us, the desperate fandom.

    DO IT!

I dare you to look at that gif for long enough and not do it. Shit, I will wait through 1 year of delays if you can make him anywhere as good as good old IH and Ratchet.

generations wheeljack looks perfect for my mixed mp/classics collection.

id buy an mp for sure, but no rush for a 3p here.

im really happy with most of my classics bots and the new igear vanbots are FREAKING awesome... im loving all their minibots and waiting for the igear cliffjumper and bumblebee. those should be sweet.

Gotta ask too, what's wrong with Generations Wheeljack, especially with Reprolabels? XD

Definitely agree with Presser/not-Impactor and the Mini-Warriors first, then worry about the other holes in the Classics line up (Hoist and Trailbreaker come to mind).

But I won't say no to an MP-level Wheeljack since I doubt Takara will be able to get Lancia/Aitalia to play ball with their license.

Generations Wheeljack is great. No need for a 3rd party one IMO

Impactor needs to be released as well as the Minibots/ Trailbraker/ Hoist, Skids and Blitzwing. And Dinobots. And Roadbuster and Whirl.

MP Wheeljack. That is what I meant. Sorry probably should have stated that. I don't personally thinking Gen Wheeljack would work. But that is just me. He will be dwarfed by my Alts.

Alt. Wheeljack looks great. But I do wish for a modern Wheeljack based on the Lancia Stratos Turbo racing car. I can see TAKARA releasing a Masterpiece Wheeljack.

il be buying all the mp releases. but the completeness of my classics collection wont let me part with it... so i wont stress over the mp line too much. what comes comes... i wont pass them up because id just be regretting it later im sure.

id want an mp sunstreaker first to hang with his bro.

Yeah, a MP Wheeljack that's as faithful in both modes as MP-12 is would be amazing. Generations/Prime versions I don't think will fit in quite right. Generations is too short and Prime is, well, too Prime-ised aesthetically.

And yeah, BT/Alt Wheeljack was always a disappointment (wasn't the mold designed to be Windcharger or something?).

Not sure if iGear (or any 3rd P) will dare wade into the MP car waters though. I think we only got the iGear vans because no one knew TT would ever tackle Masterpieces at that smaller scale. Producing something that TT might spring on us officially at any moment could be risky.

    Agreed.

Alt/BT Wheeljack is a great figure and I really like the deco. And although I've slowly come to think of it as Wheeljack, it still looks wrong to me. I'm looking for an excuse to repurpose it as another character.

A MP Wheeljack would do that.

(Actually, if we'd get a Human Alliance Prime Wheeljack it would do as well.)

    Him too.

I think characters like Wheeljack and Mirage are safe to do for 3P companies because the (apparent) license issues. Would be really happy if they were made, along with other characters TT is unlikely to make.
