Can we get a new Galvatron, or are you going to stick to that old line about "we don't want too many tank transformers at the voyager price point"?

Scale up the Voyager, add some detail, finish its third mode and fix its screwups. That'd do.

 

It might happen, since Generations is supposed to be all-encompassing, but I doubt it.

In my personal opinion, I don't really care if they make a new Galvatron or not. The first one was decent enough if you got one with tight joints, and they're giving us Straxus at last! Ok, so he's named "Darkmount" now, but we all know who he is really supposed to be.

Since "Generations" is all deluxes only, it's not gonna happen.

 

It's an excellent pick for a name as well, considering that Darkmount was Straxus' base of operations in Polyhex in the Marvel G1 comic run. I was really pleased to see that.

 

What about Black Ratchet, Yellow Long Haul, new Voyager Prime, Seaspray and the two new leader(ok, ones a repaint/remold) class figures?

"Generations" is the new sweeping, all encompassing term for the Transformers mainline, this includes new movie figures as well.

And personally, I like GALV-25 as a toy. As Galvatron he could certainly use a size class up, but chances are he's going to stay tiny just like poor old Blackout and Bonecrusher. Personally, I'd rather see a Voyager Warpath then a Voyager Galvatron at this point.

 

Those are the Hunt for the Decepticons line I believe. That's what the gold packaging is.

um.....no, it you payed attention (so far this time more people payed attention woot) you will see that there are going to be TWO different transformer lines.....Transformers, which is ROTF continued, and Generations, which is deluxe-only and a basically (EVERYTHING ELSE) line

 

tanks eh? we need a proper ROTF leader megatron!

 

Powercore Combiners seems to be a separate "line" from ROTF-continued/Yellow-Box/Hunt-for-the-Decepticons. So that'd make it 3 "lines"

 

There's one tank Transformer at the Voyager pricepoint. So what's changed?

 

Well, first off, I'm assuming that Straxus is being designed as a deluxe in mind, which is already a step up from Galvatron, and he has big flat feet, again, another step up. Looking at it though, he might be a little fiddly.

 

I'd love to see that happen.
