That's awesome. That's the best headmaster Arcee I've ever seen.

 

This is pretty neat! Pretty nice paint job on something so small. I like the toon paint job on Arcee also. Did you mod anything besides the joint that Daniel attaches to?

Just having some fun here, but for those of us old enough to remember the original airing of that episode, wasn't that the last time any of us watched anything to do with the Transformers for years? Besides those in Japan of course.

There's some more work done to the piece inside the neck/chest area so that it all fits a bit differently. Mostly cut out a space for Daniel's head/Arcee's neck to fit into and then added the peg where he actually attaches. The majority of the work was Daniel, for sure. He was a pain  

 

I wish....just wish that if we ever get an official version of Arcee that they follow the queues that you used. I think it's telling that you managed to upstage the third party version of her by adding an important detail like the headmaster. I know this combo gets a lot of flak for being too much fan service, but I feel like in the entire collection for the Headmaster cast, she was a missing part.

i love how daniels head imitates arcees neck! great custom!

 

I remember seeing a 3rd party version of arcee years ago with a Daniel headmaster, but it wasn't that body mold and it wasn't that good. Arcee's face was very angry looking and proportions were a bit off/goofie. I think they had made it a headmaster because they couldn't fit the head through the transformation.

You did a very good job here. Kudos

 

This is spectacular, and it makes me sad that I think I'm the only one who knows which "Don" you're referring to.

(I don't know how your paint skills are, but I'd consider painting it up before ebay - cool paint jobs seem to help sales...)

 

Thanks, Hoop! My paint skills are...well, I painted the white and gray on Arcee, and all the little details on Daniel. If you mean washes and stuff like that...man, I really think those ruin a figure. It makes TF toys look like statues, and if I cover her with paint, it takes away the playability. Arcee is completely transformable/playable without worry of chipping. I designed this as something that can fit into a G1 or Classics collection and look factory-made, and some people have told me that it really pulls that off, so I kinda don't want to experiment on it.

Can't tell the mods to the Arcee figure at all, which is only a good thing! Very tempted to recast Muzzle or someone now and make one of these to go on the Animated Version for myself.

 

The Animated version is probably the cheapest alternative, and I know a lot of people use it, but I just don't like it as much.

i have often thought of taking my extra G1 blurr and painting it up as Arcee, but no idea what to do with the head!

VERY nicely done, good choice on making Daniel a "Jrs" style Headmaster, works for the toy scale, reflects his kid character status, makes the whole thing feel very "official"

I do hope Don/FortMax sees this he'll be thrilled!
