Hehe I just put em up and people bid! Some were up to $50 a few days ago... crazy, but something is only worth what someone is willing pay for it, and eBay is a great demonstrator of this principle.

    Supply / demand

Eh, the supply/demand argument is very tired. That said, it's fine if you are a person okay with buying solely with the intention of selling for profit on eBay, just know that it won't be looked upon kindly by members of a Transformers fan site.

im dying to get these, but not from a scalper-if that is what you are! unless your someone who has lots of them clogging the shelves in Toys R Us, in which case other people will thank you. im gonna wait though, even if my Toys R Us hasnt gotten any new shipments since around Christmas.

All you guys bitchin about not being able to find these toys at your local toys r us -suck it up. Try living somewhere that doesnt have a store that sells tfs, and ebay is the only way to buy them. At least you guys have the chance to go and look for them and maybe snatch one up for less than the ebay rate.

    Ebay:
I got 3, there was a buttload of them left. I don't have to "defend" myself for selling a handful of little toys on eBay. Everyone knows that if you wait for these they will be everywhere. The eBay buyers are the ones who NEED it NOW.

Look how it was with the Walmart MP Skywarp. When they first came out, they were selling for almost a hundred bucks, no problem. Last month I saw a whole shelf of them for $35 on clearance.

Point is, you're whining about not being able to find them, when all you're really doing is being like a frustrated child crying to their parents about why they can't have that toy right this minute. I see those kids every time I'm in toys r us or target, and apparently, they're on this board too, name-calling and all.

Only thing I would have done differently was to have started them at cost, if not a little cheaper.

Looking at all the completed listings, they all sold for more than retail.....starting them at cost or lower would have saved you a little loot on the listing fee's and what not.

You have no idea what the stock situation on these is going to be. some exclusives never show back up at stores after their first shipment.

that is the japanese version, and that's just about the japanese retail price for it. and it's going to have a shiny metallic deco, that won't fit in with the original american toys.

All right, knock off the flaming/namecalling in this thread. Members have every right to link to their ebay auctions in here. Discuss, don't discuss, but follow the site rules.

Sorry, I should have used some type of sarcasm smiley in my previous post as well. I was merely trying mock the board. I bought two myself!

    Ebay:
who cares. the way i see it is if he paid his money for it, he has every right to sell it for whatever he wants.

now if he flat out said he stole a few and wanted to charge then thats different because well, he is stealing.

but he made his contribution to the economy by going in the store and making a purchase. as he said, supply and demand. for those who cant find them and are willing to pay more than retail will clearly show on ebay.
