At long last I finally have a mint G1 Bumblejumper to call my own. He was the last minibot... actually the last G1 figure I needed to track down (minus the mini spies) to have a complete G1 collection. A high quality Bumblejumper (at a decent price) had been that one G1 item that seemed to elude me over the last 3 to 4 years.

In the picture below you'll see there are two bumblejumpers (and a boat load of dust :redface2: ). I had gotten that one a few months back on ebay, but the jack off I bought it from lied to me and said the arms were tight... needless to say they weren't, so sadly I was back in the market once more.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I spotted a minibot lot on Ebay that included the elusive Bumblejumper. The only problem was that the head was loose. However, five minutes with a screwdriver and some gentle pressure on the head clips solved that problem. Now I can breath a bit easier and focus on picking up some of the G1 giftsets and perhaps the rest of the minispies.

My apologies for the crappy picture... my 2 mega pixel camera just isn't what it use to be.

So as I rejoice over my latest find, what figure has been the one ellusive figure you can't quite seem to snag for your collection?

nice one! whadja pay for him? I got mine about a year ago for $70. I thought I was complete, until I found out much later that a guy had sent me a yellow cliffjumper instead of a hubcap :(  so I'm still looking for him to complete my minibot collection, and refuse to buy from anyone not showing the bot mode in their auction.

The first one (the one with loose arms @#@#~!#) I paid about $75 for. I got the second one with huffer, windcharger, brawn, gears, powerglide and cosmos) for $80 shipped. All of them are in mint C8 to C9 shape.

Yeah it's hard to know exactly which one you're getting (hubcap vs yellow cliffjumper) if they don't position the toy right. The main difference being the hubcap doesn't have the rear spoiler. Sadly I seen too many people trying to sell yellow cliffjumpers, red bumblebees and hubcaps as Bumblejumpers.

    ckhtiger - THIS looks promising:

:lol  yeah it doesn't help that I was sanding the ceiling in the next room over and forgot to shut both doors. But I may be moving my entire office to the basement. If that happens it will be a mute point as it'll all be cleaned, if not replaced with new cases.
