And lets face it, with the recent fan outrage and astronomical prices some Chinese Factory must already be thinking it, if not actually working on it right now.

So would you buy KO's (ie blatent rip offs) or FE toys? I'm curious now how people would feel about this. Lets try to keep this civil?

depending on the quality? I might get some to customize, or steal their weapons.

I wouldn't put it past certain KO companies to do it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing some in the near future.

I would buy one to nab Primes weapons, just in case. But other then that I would hold out for official versions.

Epic lulz. I can practically tase all the tears and anguish this would cause the TFW world. You know it's going to happen.

I brought another FE prime just to steal his weapons. But I'd dare say, it'd be great to get some extra weapons off of them, namely, Bumblewrist blaster, Bulkhead fistwrecking ball, optimus guns.

I think they would sell. To be honest, I'd rather see the unreleased DOTM figures and the little Arms Micron guys get KO'd.

    I wouldn't because:

1- The KOs would probably be very close in price to the originals if they were the same quality. I mean, look at the prices of some of these new classics. $50 after shipping. So a voyager at $60-$70 after shipping can be found now on eBay and the likes.

2- FEs seem to be making appearances in the RiD line. So you may want to wait to see.

Having said that, I wasn't taking a chance on Bulkhead and I got him.

The only one I'd really be interested in would be the Vehicon, as that would make for some good troop building. Otherwise, I already got my FE Cliffjumper, and while I still want one I wouldn't go for a KO FE Bulkhead. I do not trust questionable KO quality with that hood transformation.

We're talking KO's here. High quality isn't exactly top priority for the majority of KO companies.

What are you talking about? I haven't seen anything indicating FE's are going to be in the mainline.

Well everything recently CHMS has been top quality. If we are talking FE line, it would have to be HQ or else you get something worse then RiD, and then why buy it at all?

Well, you only have one KO company in mind, which is high-quality. But what I said was meant to incorperate ALL KO companies who might do this, not just CHMS.

And the whole point of KO's in the first place is to offer a product to consumers at relatively cheaper prices than the real deal (or in the case of CHMS, figures Hasbro won't ever produce like a zillion different seeker colorations, but they are an exception and not the rule). Here in America this isn't much of a problem because our TF's are relatively well priced, but in other countries TF's are very expensive luxury toys, and the significantly cheaper KO's of those toys look very good to people who can't afford to get the real deal.

I imagine the quality, or lack thereof, would offset a lot of the excitement.

I agree. The prices of a KO voyager would already be damn close to what we're seeing from Canada and what not.

    Yup, what Process said.

This is the way I look at it:
    Want wise:
Cheap FE KO < RiD < HQ FE KO < FE

    Price wise
(Cheap FE KO = RiD) < (HQ FE KO = FE)

Pretty much what others have said quality wise, especially with the Japanese repaints being available.

I'd buy them if the price and the quality were both good enough. Hasbro had the chance to sell all of these to me, but due to circumstances only partially beyond their control, they botched it. I really wouldn't be able to justify feeling like I was cheating Hasbro out of any money they hadn't already refused from me at that point.

I wouldn't buy 'em because the quality is likely to be questionable. I don't want a FE Voyager Prime that falls apart the moment I get the damn thing out of the package.

Only if they used the original molds.
