Yeah, the death of a music legend is irrelevant in a thread about dead music legends.

What was irrelevant was your comment that it was 20 years ago, wether it was 20 years ago or not is irrelevant - I still would not have known. Sorry if that wasn't clear enough. :)

Plus, no-one has love for Ray Charles!? Not even for the fact he was in 'The Blues Brothers'? LOL!

    No Johnny Cash?
    No Ian Curtis (Joy dDvision)?
No Cass Eliott (The Mamas And Papas)?
    No Freddie Mercury?
No Maurice Gibb (The Bee Gees)?
    No Will Sinnot (The Shamen)?
    No Dimebag?

    This poll is bollocks.

....*stay calm, breathe* - why do you think your choices aren't here? Hmm, let's see, thinking, thinking...could it be that its MY list and their MY choices? I haven't even heard of those.
Don't attack me or the Poll, just leave the thread if you feel unimpressed. Its not hard.
I hate repeating myself. I know people like you are fishing for bites, so now that you got one, gut it, stuff it and place it on your mantle.

Yeh, Fred didn't come to mind at the time, but it would be interesting to see where Queen went.

I am perfectly calm, thank you. And if that's your idea of what a fish looks like, I'm not surprised you missed out so many obvious choices in favour of drivel like Aliayayayaya.
I don't feel "offended" by your poll; it's a poll on a message board, for God's sake. In the "great scheme of anything whatsoever", it's nothing. And If I think your poll is missing some important choices, I'll say so. Just like a lot of others have. Don't jump on me just because I'm the latest person in this thread to say so.
    Oh. Wait.
You HAVE jumped on everyone else too.
If you start a poll with limited choices that don't cover a number of popular choices, you'd better expect people to call you on it. And you might want to work on your people skills a tad too.
    Oh, and incidentally...
James Brown was in the Blues Brothers too, and he's not on your list either.

Uh,...no, I reconsidered replying to Draven, never mind.

OK then, its out of my system and I can move on. It just annoyed me for a while folks - no need to panic, we're all friends, at least in a 'we all like TF' way. :thumbs2:

I'm surprised Pav is acknowledged, yet Charles is still sitting there - dead and unconsidered. Who'd have thought?
I had an italian guy working with me for a while - I think suicide came up when he heard the news. Loyal fan.

you know if you just asked people what musical artist they missed the most with out having poll you would have avoid all the griping and protesting of your selections , im not trying to bash your list just stating a fact

A 4-way tie between MJ, John Lennon, Jimmi Hendrix and Freddie Mercury.

(I voted for Jimmi Hendrix, BTW)

I'm starting to think so. Still, I wouldn't post or poll anything if I kept thinking about avoiding griping and protests. That said, I should expect what you say to happen, but never mind.
I guess Polls work best with 'yes' and 'no' or 'True' and 'False' and not really with 'multiple choice'. :)
If one polls 'should an item be black or white?' people will always say, 'where's yellow? What about Magenta? Green! Black, are you serious?...'. :lol  Anyway, moving on...

Jimi is still pretty popular. I went into a record shop just then and his section is packed with CDs - albums, compilations, etc. Or, they just aren't selling. LOL!
