speculate on what the best (cheapest) way to get a complete hurcules will be.

    individual robots?

buying multiple individual robots and reselling extras?

    waiting for a combined set?

    other ???

POL it. Wait for them all to come in stock, and ship them at once.
Passing on them will be cheap.
Passing, and waiting for them to maybe release them all in large value pack, maybe.

POL 2 sets to save shipping. then sell one set later. depending on factors, you could minorly reimburse yourself

This. If you can afford to buy two and hold on to your spare MIB set for about a year, you stand a good chance of making most or all of your money back.

That said, I would say that the likelihood of this being rereleased as a gift set and/or possibly KOed in 2012-2013 is pretty high. If you aren't dead set on having the first release of it and can stand to wait a year or two, a cheaper option will almost certainly present itself. As I've said in the past- people traditionally don't throw away molds that make them money.

Just a feeling, that's all. I know that really doesn't explain why I said what I did.

I had a similar feeling-thats why i pre-ordered now instead of waiting lol. plus it would be hard to save up the 600. easier to pay broken up like this.
