You are complaining that his landing gear is loose?

Yeah I can understand about the launchers. But the rest is just snobbery.

Nice quality video. Figures are very well lit. Why do all the other 'reviewers' use poor lighting?

Snobbery? I'm very displeased with my Henkei Thundercracker. His wings are so flimsy, they drop all the time. And his landing gears flop all over the place. Gogdog, don't know about yours, but my TC's tail fins/wings are separated from his legs in robot mode. It doesn't snap into place and his left leg is pretty lose too. For a figure that's supposed to be the same mold as Classics SC and SW, I'd expect everything on him to be tight and snug. Especially at those import prices

    Great video!

As for why he's so loose, it's possibly because that mold has now been used 7 or 8 times. Mold degredation = sadness. :(

It saddens me to see how badly the mold has degraded :(  My Acid Storm's got quite a few of the faults you mention actually.

    God help Universe Starscream.

My Acid Storm is pretty tight, so maybe there's still hope for future releases of the mold - or maybe I'm just lucky

That said though, it doesn't alleviate the suck of this thing being floppy when it's so expensive at all :mad

Only G1 Bruticus can sustain such tomfoolery. I eagerly await his next repaint, EAGERLY

My Acid Storm is fairly tight, too. But it's just little things on it, like the tail fins don't indent like the earlier figures. There's actually a gap between the bump and the divot. But who cares, the figure is tight. It just feels...off, if you are used to handling Starscream.

But Henkei Skywarp is ok, too, or so I hear. He seems to have come after Acid Storm in the factory. So I wonder if SW is similar to Acid Storm in build quality. Either TC was last, and the mold has gotten pretty bad, or the factory had a bad run. But it seems like the former is the most likely.

    So far, we have:
    Classics Starscream
    Classics Ramjet
    Classics Skywarp
    Botcon Thundercracker
    Botcon Dirge
    Botcon Thrust
    Henkei Starscream
    Classics Acid Storm
    Henkei Skywarp
    Henkei Thundercracker

    and next is:

25th Anniversary Starscream (the 11th use of this mold in two years)
