The cockpit looks daft, the random blue looks daft, and the chromed boosters just look awful. Easy pass.

These pics aren't new at all. I said it before and I'll say it again, this is the only Henkei that I think is without question inferior to Hasbro's release.

I'm happy with my classics Jetfire. This has to be the least appealing toy of the henkei line.

i've seen these pics before....but they are calling him skyfire...if i remeber correctly so here are enough differences on him for me to pick up and display with the other classics as a new character

Yeah, I've ordered every Henkei up to this point... and I've been a Classics completist up to this point... but I'm having a really hard time pulling the trigger and ordering Henkei Jet/Skyfire. I feel he is decidedly inferior to the U.S. release. I've justified the previous Henkei purchases as a way to display the figures in both vehicle and robot modes.... but in this case, I'm finding I'd almost rather just have a second U.S. version instead.

Kinda feel the same way about Ramjet, frankly.

This. I like Classics Jetfire, but really only because they based him off Stormbringer Jetfire. Take that away and I say "meh".

Other way around, Stormbringer Jetfire is based on Classics Jetfire, Don caught an early glimpse of the toy before it was revealed to all of us via the japanese patent site in summer of 06.

The deco on this toy is half assed, the only thing this one does better than Classics Jetfire, is adding the red stripe to the legs. Thats it. It would actually look better with stripes on the wings like the G1, or just all white on the wings...not 1/2 of Jetfire camo, then blank out the rest.
