Not bad, disappointed they didn't paint the wipers and side mirrors either.

 

Looks pretty good, though I'm not digging the bling watergun.

 

Henkei Inferno = Fail 

 

As do I, but other than Cliffjumper all of my other Autobot cars are the Henkei versions, so I'm obligated to buy him. 

 

I like the red lights on it. Not enough to swap out my Universe Inferno.

 

They wasted the chrome apps. They would have been nicer used where the silver paint is on him.

 

The only other difference I can see that the OP didn't spot is Infernos "ears" are accented by gold instead of silver.

Once again their choice of chromed parts baffles me.

Chrome bumpers would have looked great and made perfect sense, but instead they chrome the back of his arms???

That said, I DO prefer the more firetruck red and grey as opposed to the Universe's crimson and brown.
I already sold my Universe one, and I have the Henkei on order -- though I may very well end up spray-painting that bumper with some alclad or something...

 

I have to pass on this one, too much money.

To echo another poster, I too would LOVE a Grapple to be made using this mold as a basis.

Looks nice. I have the Universe one and he's my new favorite character. This guy is a great toy, better in person than in the pics.
One other difference between the Henkei and Universe I noticed, the head light piping on the Universe one is clear plastic on the back of the head with blue eyes. On the Henkei it looks blue on back of head with blue eyes.

New Inferno Release...side armor as shoulder pads or back plating?

Hey all,

I've got the Hasbro one & I like that more as the chrome seems TOO shiny for me. BTW, I thought the panels encase his arms versus swivel around on his back - @ least according to the instructions. But then again, this is from the guy who swivels 2007 Movie Megatron's fin assembly around to cover up the empty space. Still, was that a choice you made and what were you trying to correct/improve? I'd want to know for mine...

Are those chrome panels on his arms tucked away out of sight in truck mode? Because I can't see them
