So I just got my Henkei Hound, and wow does he look loads better than the US release. Much better paint job, a deeper green, two stars instead of one, and the yellow stripes...very nice. My question though is, has anyone been able to fix the gun to fit on his shoulder better? Feedback please. :D

Nah, I have one of the original releases and just like that one and the Universe one it doesn't stay in place. You'll notice that Takara never promoted sticking his gun on his shoulder in any of their promotional materials, fiction, or instructions. So not even they want you to do it.

I just have him hold his gun on his hand. I think it looks cooler.

It's tough to see in this pic but I took it for the collection thread to showcase the display case not the figures. I have mine with his rocket on his shoulder, but it points down a little. Eventually I'm going to devise a way to put it on there properly.

Imo it's no point placing the weapon on the shoulder, it just doesn't sit or lock in tight. it just rest on there that's all.

Just move it slightly & it falls.

I prefer to have him hold his machine gun from the G3 trailer set. Matches the other henkei figures with the chrome weapons. I think I'm going to mold something out of modeler's clay as an attachment so it isn't permanent.

yeah that is pretty much what I do

I just wedge the gun in between his wheel and back, holds ok but i'd like a clip that makes this a better fit also.

Ha...technically FansProject already made him the chrome gun, but I would've prefered if they made a better fitting shoulder cannon/projector thing instead.

See, I do the same thing as I also have the G3 trailer. The shoulder gun somewhat stays, but of course not well. Thanks for the feedback peeps.

Yeah, mine doesn't sit perfectly straight. It's pretty solidly in there though, even if it does slightly point towards his left (from his right shoulder).
