got the reverse with my starscream. cockpit sits flush in jet mode but not quite in robot. very annoying for a already sub-par mold.
LOL, Talk about not reading the thread before I post. I don't have that problem with Dirge, the Cone pops in perfectly and nobody mentioned this problem in the feedback thread http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-feedback/227203-henkei-dirge-thrust-4.html Maybe you can sand it down a bit? here are photos of mine LMK if you need more info or want to dump your defective Dirge, i'll be interested
Hey, thanks chrisr291 for the response & pics. I doubt sanding would help. Might make it worse and have it just fall out whenever it was put in there. Looking through that area again, it looks like the screws that holds the fuselage/nosecone might not be the original ones. I looked at my other Seekers and they use a smaller, more rounded edge kind than the first set of pictures shown below, which have a flat edge. Even the other screws on the same Dirge figure have the rounded edge kind. Did anyone else have this same kind of set up on their Henkei figures (specifically the Seekers)? I'm kind of thinking the previous owner swapped out the screws or something. Flat edge Rounded edge As for letting go of this figure...I'm waiting to see if I can get a refund from the seller. I dropped $61 on this, so I'm going try to get that back before selling it for (probably much) less.
The fin on Astrotrain was incredibly loose, and won't sit square on his chest, always cocks to one side.
Well, it might the screws or not since the Generations Thrust I just opened last night has the same kind. Only, they're tightly screwed in.
I'd like to know if anyone has a Henkei Ramjet that doesn't have a bum jet thruster and swap with me... or sell me a leg. I dunno.
Alright I took a ton of pics lol. All of the screws are flat with the exception of normal Starscream, he has rounded screws. Thrust Skywarp Thundercracker Dirge Ramjet Starscream Ghost SS Hope this helps and yeah if you don't get a refund, pm me
Sorry for the thread necromancy. To anyone who owns a Henkei/Classics Optimus, does yours have scratched/chipped paint on the upper section of his thighs? The upper section of his thighs collides with his hips every time I raise his thighs to the highest position it can attain. I recently obtained a Henkei Convoy and I noticed this after I was posing him several times.
