Cybertron Philippines able to get a copy of the comic that will come with Henkei Skyfire from the ongoing Tokyo International Toy Fair.

I'll do a full translation of this manga come July after the toys are released but for the time being, the title of the manga is:
"Perhaps the Time Has Come for Me to Fight as a Soldier, Too."

Hot Rodimus is released on Thursday next week, and I'm hoping the manga picks up a little bit like the Astrotrain issue (#2). The first one was "rearry" boring.

Just a short summary, it looks as if Ramjet found Skyfire, who used to work with Starscream a long time ago before Starscream was a soldier. Skyfire teams up with the Decepticons until he realizes that there's no point to the fighting, at which time he turns on the Decepticons, stating that he doesn't like the fighting and is just a scientist. It's assumed that he joins the Autobots after he says that he didn't get along well with Starscream.

 

Does the comic explain Skyfire, the peaceful scientist's, weaponry? =P

You're joking..right?.......I hope all Japanese comics aren't this crappy....I've seen better art from a 3rd grader............

 

Well it seems that Starscream gives Skyfire his helmet. It's entirely possible that the rest of his weaponry is a gift, too.
I mean, as Skyfire seems to have crashed and frozen before the war, it seems more logical that the weapons are a new addition rather than pieces of old.

 

I didn't know he came with a comic book

...that will make getting him all the more sweeter

Who's the decepticon Henkai shadow? The autobot one is Prowl, right?

 

They're both Autobots: Sunstreaker and Prowl.

 

I love the little extras like this that Henkei come with.
