Okay I have been try to remember this all day today. It has a few of these shorts stories in it with one being about a guy who is pretty self centerd and gets a box of army men that come to life a try to kill him. Another one is about a perent who tells his kid that its not a good idea to let the cat sleep on your bed because it wil suck the life out of you when in actuallity it is a little goblin that dose this.

The one with the cat and the goblin was Cat's Eye, but that movie didn't have a story about army men in it, I'm pretty sure. If I recall correctly, it just had a story of a guy trying to quit smoking, a guy on a ledge, and the goblin story.

Edit: Cat's Eye (1985 film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Still no idea about the army men story though.

The one with the army men is from Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes, I think. At least, there is a story like that in that miniseries.
Cat's Eye is the other one. Stephen King is associated with that one too. Looks like you're on a Stephen King kick and didn't even know it.

    THIS!!

I watched "Cat's Eye" two years ago, and the N&D series last year. I loved them all. On a side note, "The Mist" ending, while not being true to the book, is so King-like in style and feel, that my chest hurts every time I watch that movie. Bloody brilliant.

Oh, and the goblin in "Cat's Eye"?

Frank Welker did the vocal performance.
