I absolutely love the figure. His bot mode is imposing and badass, his tank mode is satisfyingly big, and the transformation is pretty cool.

However, do have a bit of a problem when going to tank mode. Lining up the panels on his side (the side with the claw arm, don't have a problem with the other). I don't know why, but no matter how much I fiddle I can never get the arm into what would be a correct position that allows the panel to close and lock in place. Comparing it to the other arm (which, as I said, I have no problems with) even if it looks to be in the same position..it won't close.

Help please.

 

From the bottom- You should NOT be able to see the shoulder screws, but you SHOULD be able to see the lower arm screws.

 

I made sure I had the arms turned right...bah.

Took some pics, maybe someone can identify the problem.


^ Everything seems to line up right, the treads are in place..but the damn peg won't stay/go in.


Maybe it is mispositioned?

A pic may be useful. Took me a secoond to figure out the claws/arm cannons detach and swivel into place

 

I think mine might have been put together weird or something, I dunno just something seems off (or maybe I am missing something really obvious). Took a couple underside pics (mostly for my own comparison, but they may help).

You need to wrestle his elbow so the bar that holds the weapon thingy goes in the indent for it. I wish I could explain it better than that. Where's Eva when you need him...? He's pretty good with the explanations.

 

Thanks. The grayish plastic is supposed to fit in the indent on the side of the thigh. I don't think it's supposed to be right against it, and I think you have it about right. Make the hands as flat as you can, they should look like a "9" if you do it right

 

Sorta got him into tank mode (before you posted)...though it obviously isn't quite right.

I'll give it a shot.

At least I plan to display him in bot mode >_>
