This is odd... I've got a certain album, all MP3s that just won't import when I Import the folder. All other songs import fine, but not this one. Anyone have any ideas?

That's odd. Have you tried to import the files individually, rather than the folder?

Did you try just dragging the songs into your iTunes music library? Not sure if there is an import button. I always just drag them and see them appear.

I figured out what it was.

The MP3s were actually zips that had to be renamed to zips and then extracted.

But then (go figure) the zips had some stupid password, and basically turned out to be hours spent trying to figure it out that were wasted.

No, I haven't... not exactly sure what that is?

But these MP3s were basically just bunk.

iTunes match is basically taking every song in your library and moving it to the cloud It's 25 bucks a year but nothing has been more worth it for me. The songs that they recognize they match to the ones on their store (instead of uploading them), and the ones that they don't they upload from your computer. You have access to your entire library where ever you are (both streaming and download). But the cool shit is that I have some OLD Iron Maiden CDs and some of them didn't rip correctly, so I deleted them from my computer and redownloaded (the matched ones), and I got Itunes' better copies to replace them :D

Nice! I've wanted to do the cloud thing for some time, so I think you've just sold me.

Well, just in case, the iCloud on itunes is a different thing than iTunes match. The menu for Match is on the right side of the store, and it's only 25 bucks a year. The iCloud goes up to 100 bucks depending on the size, but that one has nothing to do with music.
